TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Contract
The following booking conditions form the basis of your contract with Travel Consultor Ltd (“we”, “us” and “our”).
By asking us to confirm your booking, we are entitled to assume that you have had the opportunity to read and have read these booking terms & conditions and agree to them. Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations.
The person signing the booking form (that incorporates these terms and conditions) warrants that s/he has full authority to do so on behalf of all persons whose names appear thereon, and confirms that all such persons are fully aware of and understand these terms and conditions.
These booking conditions govern your relationship with Travel Consultor.
The contract commence only if Travel Consultor has confirmed the booking in writing and issued a confirmation.
The person making the booking must be at least 18 years of age and must be authorised to make the booking on behalf of the members of the party. The person making the booking must also provide a copy of these booking conditions to the other members of the party.
Travel Consultor reserves the right to decline any booking at their discretion without further explanation.
Price
Prices and availability quoted by Travel Consultor are not guaranteed until deposit is fully paid. Pricing and availability may change without notice.
Passenger agrees that Travel Consultor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in any quotes, advertisements, including on our website, resulting in inventory, content, or pricing discrepancies nor is Travel Consultor responsible for any errors or omissions that may occur as a result of incorrect information from third parties.
Travel Consultor reserves the right to charge Passenger(s) for any increase in taxes, fees or surcharges (i.e. fuel). Passenger(s) acknowledge this right and agree to pay any such additional taxes, fees, and surcharge.
Bank transfers are accepted as the full amount payable as published. Payment must be settled by the Client by bank transfer within 3 days after receipt of the invoice (if not stated otherwise). Besides that, we accept credit card payments only in Turkish Lira. The full amount payable will be calculated according to the daily buying exchange rate on the date of sale where can be found at www.tcmb.gov.tr.
Travel Consultor does not accept any responsibility for variations in the final transaction amount due to foreign currency and other fees and exchange rates used by banking institutions.
After you have made the full payment, discounts will not be applied to you even if you desire benefit of a reduced price.
Deposit & Final Payment
In order to reserve a place for you on a group tour, 250 usd amount non-refundable deposit is required in 7 days before the booking day. Specific hotel, tour operator, cruise line, airline or other principal may require a further deposit. Final payment must be done 30 days before the departure day.
Child Discount Rates
Traveller must be minimum at the age of 8 for group tours.
Children aged from 8-12 years of age travelling on a group tours in Turkey, Greece and Egypt with a accompanying adult will receive a discount of 25% of the full rate. Child discount cannot be combined with other discounts. The highest discount will be applied to a booking at the time of booking.
Traveller aged under 18 can book any of tours only if they are travelling with a parent or legal guardian. There cannot be any exceptions to this policy.
Airport transfers
Airport transfers are only available to and from tour hotels as specified by Travel Consultor.
At least 48 hours before arrival, full flight details including arrival time and the flight number must be provided.
Luggage
You are entitled to have one main piece of luggage, a cabin bag or day pack and any personal items such as a handbag or laptop computer. According to the policy of some domestic airlines in Turkey, you have 15kg of a luggage limit. Please note that you will be responsible for any excess baggage fees if your luggage exceeds 15kg during domestic flights in your tour program.
Free Time
Travel Consultor cannot be responsible for any loss, accident or injury which occurs in certain periods designated as ‘’free time’’ by us. Traveller is free to use this free time as they wish.
Tour Inclusions and Exclusions
The land price of your trip includes all accomodation, sightseeing, meals, transport and the tour guide services as described on the itinerary or website. Tour price excludes any item not mentioned in the inclusions section of your itinerary.
The price of your tour excludes international or internal flights, airport transfers, taxes and excess baggage charges, visas, personal insurance, extra beverages at meals, laundry, food or snacks at times other than your meal included on the itinerary, telephone, fax or internet access charges, film, fees for taking photographs or videos in certain locations, fees for changing money, medical expenses, custom duties, shopping and tips or gratuities.
Maximum passanger in gulet groups
For Gulet tours provided by Travel Consultor, there is a limit of maximum 20 passangers. Maximum number may vary accorgind to available cabin space for these tours. Once we reached the maximum number limit, booking will be closed and no longer available. .
Gulet
Passengers who have booked for gulet cruises may not be able to change the departure date if less than 2 weeks left.
Single travellers must pay single supplement. There is no other option such as sharing the cabin with another guest as most gulets have only double beds.
Children must be at least 12 years of age for gulet tours otherwise they won’t be permitted on cabin charter gulet cruises.
Availability must be confirmed with Travel Consultor in writing prior to acceptance of any booking.
Amendments & Cancellations by You
If you or any member of your party wishes to cancel your holiday, you must notify us in writing, in any case the date of cancellation will be at the date on which notice is received by Travel Consultor. As this incurs administrative cost and retention charges by hotel, the cancellation charges will apply on the following scale:

No refund is available on bookings that received a discount due to a special offer or promotion.
Cancellation By Travel Consultor
Travel Consultor reserves the right to cancel any confirmed booking in any circumstances or beacuse of force majeure, defined here as war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, flight cancellation or any other external circumstances beyond our control. Compensation is not available if we are forced to cancel or in any way change a tour due to force majeure.
Change of Hotels and Itinerary
Travel Consultor reserves the right to change the tour itinerary at any time due to circumstances or events outside our control. Any additional costs of necessary itinerary alterations will be covered by you in such emergency circumstances. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that may be incurred as a result of a change of itinerary, including visas, vaccinations, or non-refundable flights. However, all products that we have on our website have published in integrity and we unsure our customers that we will do our best to operate all of them as advertised.
As long as the time permits we will inform our guests before their departure if we make major modification on the itinerary. Guests will have 2 options when a major modification is made;
Obtaining the refund of money paid on the land portion of the tour,
Accepting the alternative itinerary of the same or lesser value.
The hotels listed on the our website may be changed in order to meet operating requirements and local conditions. We reserve the right to substitute hotels without prior notice. If a change becomes necessary for any reason, including alternate hotels for additional departures on the same date, or hotel location changes within or outside itinerary cities, the hotel substituted will be of equivalent or higher standard, when available, to those shown. No refunds are provided for hotel changes. Full cancellation penalties as noted above apply.
Accommodations
Organised tour accommodation options are twin, double and triple. Single travelers will be payable the single room supplement.
Due to availability of the hotels, we will make every effort to execute special requests such as bed types, smoking preference and connecting rooms.
Please note that if you booked a triple room, which there are limited triple rooms, the third bed may be a “fold-away” bed in some hotels. We are not responsible when hotel can only provide a fold-away bed, and no compensation is payable to you in any such instance.
The advertised hotels are intended to give an idea of the type of accommodation that may be expected. If there is any changes in hotel standarts we will update the website immediately. It will be to a hotel of equal or higher standard and will be at no extra cost if and when we do change hotels.
Travel Documentation
It is your responsibility to be in possession of a valid passport, visa permits, vaccinations, preventative medicines and other medical certificates and all necessary travel documents.
Trravel Consultor is not liable for damages arising from changes in regulations or laws to the necessary travel document requirements.
Information about these matters is provided in good faith by Travel Consultor but without liability.
Travel Consultor is not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other documentation.
In the case of lost or stolen documents, while we are happy to assist in any way possible, Travel Consultor cannot be held responsible for any additional costs and you are not entitled to any reimbursement or compensation of paid travel expenses.
Under Turkish Law, adequate insurance is mandatory for all Clients to cover at least but not limited to personal accident, death, medical and repatriation expenses, loss of luggage and cancellation or curtailment of a Product and should not exclude any planned adventure activities from the time of booking for the full duration of the Product as a minimum. A Client and their personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the Client. Travel Consultor accepts no liability on the Client’s behalf where Travel Consultor has provided a Product of reasonable standard. You are fully responsible for arranging your own insurance. You will be asked to provide proof of your travel insurance on the first day of your tour. You will not be able to join the tour without it.
Health, Safety and Conduct
All clients are expected to satisfy themselves that they are able to complete their tour itinerary. All clients must declare the true nature of such conditions when they book the tour if they have any pre-existing medical conditions or ilness and make the necessary arrangements for the provisions of any medication or other treatment which may be required during the tour. In this case the client is required to provide a medical statement in order to confirm that they are fit to travel, otherwise Travel Consultor will not be responsible for any circumstances.
Travel Consultor will be glad trying to execute your special meal requests. But if they are not provided at hotels or restaurants during the tour, Travel Consultor cannot be held responsible.
All clients are responsible to have any inoculations that may be required for their intended destinations. They must advise us if they have any allergies or other physical conditions which might affect them during the tour. Travel Consultor reserves the right to decline or accept any person as a member of the tour or to decline or retain any person if such person’s physical condition, mental well-being or behaviour interferes with the operation of the tour. There will be no refund in such cases.
Client Exclusion and Local Law
While on the tour all clients accept that Travel Consultor’s employees and its suppliers’s employees and resresentatives have the authority and decisions. You may be excluded from all or part of the tour without prior notice or any liability on the part of Travel Consultor if your health or conduct before or after the departure appears likely to endanger the safe, comfortable or happy progress of the tour. Clients agree to comply with the laws and regulations of the countries they travel. Travel Consultor will not be liable to any Clients who commit illegal or unlawful acts whilst on tour.
Liability
Travel Consultor does not own or control hotels, coach or other facilities mentioned in the tour. As an operator of the package tour therefore, we cannot be held liable.
Where there has been no fault on the part of the company, supplier or agents.
Where the failures in performance of the contract are attributable to the customer.
Where the failures are attributable to a third party not connected with the provision of the holiday and is unforeseeable or unavoidable.
Where the failures are due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond your control.
Where the failures are due to an event which you or your supplier even with all due care could not foresee or foretell.
We do take all reasonable steps in ensuring that the organization maintains standards and provide a service that is acceptable to the passengers. The information within this website has been compiled with all reasonable care and is correct to the best knowledge of Travel Consultor and is published in good faith.
Tour Meeting Point
If the clients book the tour that does not include an airport transfer, they will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the meeting points. Meeting points are set out in the brochures or published at our website.
Photography and Marketing
While your are using one of our products, our authorised representatives may take photographs and films of you. Travel Consultor reserve the right to use said material for any advertising or promotion in any medium we choose without obtaining further consent. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.
Travel Consultor also reserve the right to use any comments you make, questionnaires or complimentary letters with respect to us, or our Products, minus any identifying information, in promotional literature without obtaining further consent.
Personal Data
All Client data is protected in accordance with “Protection of personal data” laws. By making a booking with Travel Consultor, you agree to our use of this data in order to meet contractual and other tour operations obligations. We reserve the right to use this for direct marketing purposes, market research, customer demographics, statistics and information of our travel agency and its business partners. If you do not want your data to be used by us, you may advise us by email, and said data will be destroyed.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about any of the Product arrangements you must raise the complaint immediately with a Travel Consultor employee so that we can use our best endeavours to rectify the problem. We cannot rectify a problem we are unaware of. Failure by you to complain on the spot will extinguish or at least reduce our liability to pay compensation. Should we be unable to resolve the problem on the spot, a complaint must be made in writing within 90 days of completion of the product.
Updates to terms and conditions
Travel Consultor reserves the right to update and / or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and it is the Clients’ responsibility to be familiar with them. The latest terms and conditions can always be found on our website: https://www.travelconsultor.com/terms-and-conditions/ and will supersede any previous versions.
General
Any of our employees or representatives have any right to alter, vary or waive any of these terms and conditions, nor to undertake any liability whatsoever on behalf of Travel Consultor, unless such be in writing and signed by the General Director of the Travel Consultor.
All contracts for bookings made with us are governed by Turkish law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Turkish courts should any dispute arise between parties to this contract.
